In the past few years, the scourge of stock tip messages, calls, and communication using social media has become a dangerous nuisance. We’ve been seeing queries from unwitting investors who have invested based on these messages and calls. We are writing this as a cautionary note urging you to not invest or trade based on anonymous and fraudulent stock tips.
Also, it has come to our notice that many of general investors, members of public are receiving calls from unsolicited persons and companies posing to be employees of A. K. Group or using our SEBI Registration Nos. and contact details to defraud genuine investors. These persons or companies misrepresent themselves as employees of A.K. Group, with malicious intent. Here are some examples of these messages where these tipsters are impersonating us:
This is illegal and we have always reported such cases to the relevant authorities. We would request our client, investors, and members of public to not encourage or transact with such persons or companies. We would like to bring to your notice that:
- We never provide advisory services in equity and/or equity derivatives instruments.
- We deal only with registered clients.
- A. K. executives will never ask to open an additional account on the pretext of stock tips, name change, etc.
- Our company name has not changed.
- We never promise guaranteed returns or give stock tips on WhatsApp, SMS etc.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that you:
- Ignore and block unsolicited calls for investment advice/stock trading strategy/stocks Tips.
- Beware of unsolicited SMS/ Whatsapp messages for tips and investment advice through SMS and/or social media.
How to report these calls and messages
- File a complaint on SEBI against the tipster.
- Report the messages to the exchange tip lines
