This is to inform you that, in accordance with the SEBI Circular dated January 05, 2024 on the Framework for Short Selling, retail investors are permitted to undertake short selling in eligible securities. As per the said framework, retail investors are required to disclose their short-selling positions by the end of trading hours on the same day of the transaction. This disclosure can be made after execution of the trade and must be completed within the same trading day by emailing you short sell position on backoffice@akgroup.co.in
Please note that:
- Naked short selling is not permitted.
- All short-selling positions must be honored by delivering securities at the time of settlement.
- Securities eligible for short selling are those permitted under the F&O segment, as notified by the Stock Exchanges from time to time.
